Zero Financial Surveillance & Zero CIBIL Impact
CardIntel does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your phone number, email address, PAN card number, Aadhaar number, or credit card details to compare cards, calculate rewards, or explore MITC schedules.
Simulating spend on our calculators or matching recommendations triggers zero credit bureau inquiries and has zero impact on your CIBIL score.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
Unlike bank portals or lead-generation platforms that monetize your personal contact information, CardIntel explicitly does NOT collect:
- Permanent Account Number (PAN) or Aadhaar numbers
- Bank account numbers, debit/credit card 16-digit numbers, expiry dates, or CVVs
- Net banking credentials, MPINs, or one-time passwords (OTPs)
- Income tax returns (ITR) or salary slips
- Credit bureau reports or CIBIL pull requests
2. Client-Side Spend Simulation & Local Storage
When you adjust spending sliders in the Rewards Calculator or select cards for side-by-side comparison:
The calculations run entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript. Your custom budget numbers and selected comparison cards are stored locally in your browser's localStorage for your convenience and are never synced to external telemetry databases.
3. Aggregated Diagnostics & Security Telemetry
We collect anonymized, non-personally identifiable diagnostic metrics (such as page response latencies, browser user-agent types, and general HTTP error codes) to maintain uptime, prevent denial-of-service attacks, and optimize database cache queries.
4. External Bank Portals
When navigating from CardIntel to an official issuing bank website (e.g. to view an official MITC PDF or apply directly), you become subject to that banking institution's privacy policy and regulatory security guidelines under RBI IT governance norms.
