Terms & Conditions
Terms of service, terms of accuracy, and legal agreements governing the use of CardIntel's financial research, calculators, and comparison infrastructure.
Terms of Accuracy & Regulatory Compliance
CardIntel is an independent financial research and credit card intelligence platform. We are not a credit card issuer, scheduled commercial bank, non-banking financial company (NBFC), or direct sales agent (DSA). Card features, annual renewal fees, reward redemption ratios, welcome vouchers, forex markup percentages, and airport lounge access criteria are subject to periodic circular revisions by issuing banks.
In accordance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Co-Branding Master Directions, co-branded platforms partner with underlying legal banks who remain strictly authoritative for card underwriting, credit assessment, billing, and regulatory disputes (AGENTS.md Rule 4). Always verify official bank Most Important Terms & Conditions (MITC) schedules prior to application.
1. Informational & Research Scope
All tools, content, simulations, valuation engines, calculators, and comparison matrices provided on CardIntel (including cardintel.online and its subdomains) are intended exclusively for general informational, educational, and analytical purposes.
Nothing on this website constitutes personal financial advice, credit solicitation, investment recommendations, legal counsel, or a guarantee of credit approval. Card approvals and credit limits remain at the sole, unfettered discretion of the respective RBI-regulated legal bank issuer.
2. Terms of Accuracy & Verification Standard
CardIntel maintains a rigorous, source-backed provenance standard for all card terms using official bank Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC), Key Fact Statements (KFS), Schedule of Charges (GSFC), and published circulars.
However, banks frequently alter merchant category code (MCC) exclusions, lounge spend requirements, and bonus point redemption caps without advance notice. CardIntel does not warrant or guarantee that card features displayed are at all times identical to bank terms in effect at the precise instant of your application.
Cardholders are contractually bound solely by the agreements, MITC schedules, and terms executed directly with the legal card issuer.
3. Deterministic Algorithms & Calculator Results
Calculators (such as Rewards Calculator, Find My Card Matcher, and Your Next Card Audit) use deterministic formulas based on typical spending categories and bank reward earning schedules.
Actual returns may vary depending on merchant category codes assigned by payment processors (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, Amex), spend eligibility windows, monthly reward caps, GST on renewal fees, and reward redemption catalogue valuations.
4. Third-Party Websites & Outbound Bank Links
CardIntel provides external links to official issuing bank portals, regulatory circulars, and verified application portals for user convenience.
We do not control, endorse, operate, or assume legal liability for third-party websites, their privacy practices, data processing policies, or customer service delivery.
5. Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use
The proprietary CardIntel Score algorithms, software architectures, user interfaces, database taxonomies, and visual representations are the intellectual property of CardIntel.
Commercial scraping, automated bulk harvesting, mirror sites, or reverse-engineering of CardIntel deterministic scoring logic without explicit prior written authorization is strictly prohibited. Bank trademarks, logos, and product brand names remain the property of their respective owners.
6. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall CardIntel, its researchers, operators, or contributors be held liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from card application rejections, credit score fluctuations, reward devaluations, bank fee assessments, or decisions made in reliance on platform data.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
